About Us
About Palea Poli
A 1902 silk factory in old Naousa became a nine-room sanctuary at the foot of Mount Vermio.
Our Story
From Silk Factory to Boutique Hotel
Palea Poli began as a silk factory, built in 1902 in the old town of Naousa, at the foot of Mount Vermio. For generations its looms were part of the town's celebrated textile trade, drawing on the waters of the Arapitsa that still run through the city.
A century later the historic building was carefully restored and reopened as a nine-room boutique hotel, where heritage stone and interwar elegance meet contemporary comfort. Recognized today as a traditional heritage building of Naousa, it is one of the houses from which a Genitsaros ceremonially sets out each year during the town's storied Carnival of the Genitsaroi and Boules.

True luxury lives in the details. Each stay is shaped with care — from a breakfast table laid with the produce of the valley to a quiet word on where to dine and which roads lead into the hills.
